Details
In the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, the album page is more than a record of a presentation. It is a central instrument in the preparation of the adult. It shapes how the catechist approaches the child, the material, and the mystery being proclaimed. When the album page reflects the reality of the child, including age, capacities, and lived experience in the atrium, it supports the catechist in serving the child with intention and care.
This workshop, held on Saturday, May 9 and Saturday, May 16, invites catechists to deepen their understanding of the album page as a tool that holds together fidelity to the child, the content, and the method of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. During the first Saturday, we will focus on unpacking the essential elements of the album page, exploring its structure, language, and purpose, and reflecting on how it guides the catechist’s preparation.
