Tour your atrium BEFORE you begin

Updated: Sep 18

At the start of the year, we invite the child to the atrium and encourage him to prayerfully walk and explore the space with his eyes.  This is a spiritual walk much in the way the child is encouraged to enter the Church before the celebration of the Holy Mass – with attention and reverence.

In that same vein, I find myself wandering into the Atrium to reorient myself to where works are located, to see if they are in order and ready for the child. But I also take a moment to stop at one work, reflect on it and wonder...why am I called to that work today? What is the Holy Spirit’s invitation to me? How can I respond to this invitation in a way that better serves the child?

The preparation of the Adult – beyond the initial formation - is as much a part of planning the Atrium session as the preparation of the environment.  Join us at Our Lady of Good Help CGS' Conference and Annual Meeting on October 12th and listen to Keynote Speaker, Jenny Luetkemeyer share her personal and professional insight in this topic.

Registration for the first Annual Our Lady of Good Help CGS Conference is currently open and we are looking forward to a day of fellowship and formation.

We look forward to seeing you in October!
