Mary Luann Larson
Blessings on this Feast of St. Therese of Lisieux, patroness of Missionaries!
Today marks the start of the National Novena to Our Lady of Champion (October 1-9). When Our Lady appeared to Adele Brise in the woods of Wisconsin, she asked her to "gather the children in this wild country and teach them what they should know for salvation." Now, 165 years later, we, as Catechists are doing just that and encouraging others to join us.
Please join fellow Catechists as we pray this novena to Our Lady asking for her help and guidance in our formation and growth in faith. Through the website link below you can request an email reminder of the prayers of the novena.
On this feast of St. Therese, the Board of Directors of Our Lady of Good Help CGS is pleased to announce our first Mission Formation Course. A Mission course is one that we believe will benefit the growth of CGS in an area but that is not able to reach the minimum number of participants. As a Board, we are working with the host site to seek donations to offset the fixed costs of providing a CGS Formation course. Needs include gift cards for groceries, office supplies and mileage for formation leader flights.
If you, or someone you know is willing to contribute to the formation of Catechists, please reach out to our Board Secretary, Mary Gilman via email at secretary@cgsinlandnw.org; Thank you for your consideration.
Our Lady of Champion, pray for us.
Grace to you, and Peace,
Mary Luann Larson
